Even if petrol prices are at its highest, men will take women for drives, says Ekta Kapoor!
Recently, filmmaker and Television wizard Ekta Kapoor united with the team of Veere Di Wedding last evening for the music launch. Ekta Kapoor is one of the producers of the film.
After the music launch, the team intermingled with the media. When Ekta was questioned about the fuel price hike, she told, “Even if petrol prices are at its highest, men will take women for drives & in today’s time, women will take men for drives. This isn’t the movie that you’re going to stop watching as at this time you need to spend less on driving & more in theatre.”
Realizing that her response did not make sense, Ekta further added, “Not that there was any connection between the question and my answer.” Ekta also took a gibe at the journalist’s query.
