Film fraternities to meet PM Narendra Modi in Delhi for discussing issues!

Recently, known personalities from the Indian film industry flew down to Delhi to meet India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The list includes Ritesh Sidhwani, Rajkumar Hirani, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Aanand L Rai, Mahaveer Jain and Aamir Khan who met Narendra Modi to discuss numerous issues troubling the Indian film industry.

As per a report in a daily, a source disclosed, “Hindi Film Industry is one of the highest grossing industries of our nation and is also very influential globally. In order to discuss the status of the industry and the day to day issues faced by the people involved in the field, the producers, as well as Aamir Khan, went to meet the Prime Minister to discuss the same. It was a collaborative effort of all the people involved to come forward and seek solutions from the Prime Minister directly and address these issues.”

After meeting the Prime Minister, the representatives of the Indian film industry were pleased as the meeting with Narendra Modi turned out to be very fruitful.

While the Prime Minister was convinced with the representatives of the film industry, as per source disclosed, “Modi Ji was very receptive throughout and has asserted them, that he will be working towards setting up a special team, appointing someone to look into the specifics of the industry and address them timely.”
