Had I been a star kid, I’d have got launched by 22 or 23, reveals Ayushmann Khurrana!

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most gifted actors that we have in Bollywood at the moment. He has enthralled millions of hearts with his style statements and brilliant acting skills. The actor didn’t have any Bollywood connections before making it big in the industry. In this race of stardom, Ayushmann has made his stable position while competing against star kids like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Ranbir Kapoor among others.

As we all know that Nepotism has become a hot topic in present time. Lately, Ayushmann Khurrana came out and spoke on this matter.

A tabloid quoted him, “Nepotism exists everywhere. An industrialist’s son will push his son to be an industrialist. If my son is talented and he wants to be an actor, then I’d launch him in a film. But ultimately, it’s your talent which counts”.

“Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Ranbir Kapoor are talented. They are not getting films just because they are star kids. But yes, they did get opportunities faster. I was 27 when I got Vicky Donor. Had I been a star kid, I’d have got launched by 22 or 23″, he further added.

Previously, speaking about his whole journey, he had revealed, “It has been a great journey. It has been very fruitful. It was a long and very enjoyable journey. I was a part of a reality show for the first time when I was like 17-18 and Roadies happened when I was 19-20. And now I am turning 33. So, it’s a great journey and I am really happy that the journey is still on. I am really excited about my future projects as well. I am glad that I did not straight away start as a film actor because it gives me a really well-rounded perception. I have done theatre, radio, Television, then eventually films. And I have this paddle musical entity as well. So, I guess it’s good fun. Life is fun.”

“Even if I am an insider now, I will always be having that outlook of an outsider because I just love doing that. I watch cinema as an outsider, as an audience, as ‘janta’. Whenever I watch a film, I don’t carry that baggage of an industry guy or an actor who will be too critical about the work. Because that is what happens when you become a part of the industry. Then, you nitpick certain things in every film. I don’t do that. I watch films as an ‘Aam Aadmi’,” the actor had told.
