Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who essays Ranveer Singh’s wife in Padmavati told that when she signed the movie, she knew she will have a small part in it. This is her first movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditi couldn’t stop gushing about him.
While speaking to a tabloid about her character, Aditi revealed, “It’s not a major role. When I signed on for Padmavati, I knew very well it was going to be a small part. But, Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir presents all his women so well”.
The actress even stated how actors who had a small role in Bhansali’s flicks had left an impact of their characters. The actress specified, “In Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram-Leela, Richa Chadha had a brief role, but she made an impact. I am sure I will leave some impact in Padmavati. No one who works with Sanjay sir comes away without benefiting from the association.”
Hydari added later, “I want to be happy in what I do. I don’t want to work with people who spread negative vibes”.
In the film, Deepika Padukone will portray Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh plays the role of Alauddin Khilji, and Shahid Kapoor will essay the character of Maha Rawal Ratan Singh.
It is speculated that SLB is planning to release Padmavati in 3D too. The movie is scheduled to release on December 1, 2017.
