I love being a full-time mother, says Rani Mukerji!

Filmmaker Rani Mukerji is a proud mother to her little daughter Adira Chopra. The actor was on a leave from work after the birth of her baby.

Now, the actor is set to be back on the big screen with YRF’s Hichki being helmed by Siddharth Malhotra. Lately, during a communication with a tabloid, Rani revealed, “As they say, ‘When you become a mother, your child gives birth to you as a mother’. I am learning every day as a mother and I am sure my daughter will teach me much more about motherhood. Also, it all depends on her.”

She told, “Your child should know you as an independent mother and respect you not just for being a mother who looks after them, but also for being independent enough to go out there in the world and work.”

Rani went on to say about working parents telling, “They will understand that work is important, as they are always like, ‘My parents go out to make a living and come home to spend time with me’.”

The gifted actor ended conversation by saying, “I love being a full-time mother, which I have enjoyed in the last two years. But I think it is time for me to get back to work (smiles).”
