I’d love to do the Kishore Kumar biopic, reveals Ayushmann Khurrana!
There are a lot of actors who are considering as lead in Kishore Kumar by Anurag Basu. While we know that the filmmaker is keen on casting his favourite Ranbir Kapoor as the late well-known actor and singer, there is another actor who would like to essay the role of Kishore Da.
It is none other than Ayushmann Khurrana who is not only a good actor but is also musically talented.
In an interview with a tabloid, Ayushmann spoke about how he wishes to essay Kishore Kumar and revealed, “I’d love to do the Kishore Kumar biopic. If anybody can please put this across to Mr. (Anurag) Basu, I’ll be more than happy to do it. I can sing, too. I’m a legit actor who can play the legend on-screen.”
On the film front, Ayushmann will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller, Shoot The Piano Player which will see the actor play a visually challenged pianist.
