Kareena’s NO for Apla Manus remake, Sonakshi’s gain?

After Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comeback film Veere Di Wedding post her maternity break, reports of her being showered with nonstop offers have been doing the rounds. Kareena has however maintained that she will be doing just one film per year for she wants to stay and enjoy some time with her 18-months-old toddler Taimur Ali Khan.

There were conjectures that Kareena has been in talks with the makers of the Hindi remake of Marathi movie Apla Manus which was to be produced by Ashutosh Gowariker. But, it seems things did not work out with her for another report in a daily claims that Sonakshi Sinha has now been offered the part.

A source disclosed to a daily, “The modalities didn’t work out and Kareena is already committed to Raj Mehta’s next, with Akshay Kumar. So she also didn’t have the dates. So, now, the film’s makers are looking to cast Sonakshi Sinha for that role. Their talks with the actress are in the advanced stages and in all probability, things will be worked out and she will sign up for it.”
