Konkona and Bhumi unite first time for Alankrita Shrivastava’s next!
After Lipstick Under My Burkha’s success, filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava and producer Ekta Kapoor will be reuniting for another female-centric movie. As per a report in a daily, the makers have choosen Bhumi Pednekar and Konkona SenSharma to play the role of leading ladies. Both the actors are strong and have always mesmerized their fans with their acting abilities.
About women centric film, a source disclosed, “Konkona Sen Sharma has been signed on for the other female lead’s part. The character needed to be essayed by a powerful actor, and when the think tank at the production house was discussing whom they should pitch the film to, they felt Koko (as Konkona is fondly called) would suit the part really well.”
“Alankrita also wanted Konkona in the film, given that they have already worked together in Lipstick Under My Burkha last year. She has signed on the dotted line. In fact, both Bhumi and Konkona shot for the picture announcing the film earlier this week itself,” the source further revealed.
As per reports, Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar loved the script.
