Manasi Salvi to play Ridhi Dogra’s character in show Woh Apna Sa!
TV show Woh Apna Sa has done well and has also created a decent fan following, the show had lately faced trouble when actress Ridhi Dogra quit the show. But as they say that the show must go on and they found Ridhi’s replacement and that is Manasi Salvi, again a famous Television face. Manasi Salvi took to her Instagram handle to share her pleasure and enthusiasm to finally be on screen after a long time.
She captioned it as, “Thank you for the abundance of love n support that brings me back to your TV screens tonite 10 PM on @zeetv..my debut channel. From Koi Apna Sa to Woh Apna Sa. When the news of Ridhi leaving the show had come out we got in touch with the fabulous actress and she disclosed to us the reason behind quitting the show. Ridhi revealed, “I don’t want to age (in the show), there is no other reason. I would love to continue and all but the makers have thought of a different storyline and I am in no mood to age.”
She added later, “I think I am young and I want to be young for as long as I can be (laughs) so that’s all there is, there’s no bad blood we are all good and I’ll miss the team and everything but I don’t want to age. I am sure there are lots of roles my age that I am yet to play, so I would like to play that.”
