No Priyanka, Aishwarya is the only choice for Shahnaz Hussain’s biopic?

Padma Shri awarded Indian entrepreneur Shahnaz Hussain has lived quite an elegant life and it comes as no surprise that a biopic is being planned for her. The person heading the project is producer Bobby Bedi’s daughter Puja Bedi.

Firstly, Priyanka Chopra was approached to essay Shahnaz as Puja was keen on casting her but going by the packed schedule Priyanka has with her TV show Quantico and her Hollywood projects, the actress is inaccessible for quite some time.

Now, as per a tabloid, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been shown the script. Writer Kamlesh Pandey disclosed, “Aishwarya was always our first choice.”

Seems like Shehnaz is also keen on Aishwarya starring as her in her biopic.

Kamlesh added, “But we want the tehzeeb and adab of the character to reflect in the actor’s DNA. The vocabulary certainly could not be that of the Facebook and Twitter generation. Aishwarya is perfect, keeping in mind all these prerequisites.”
