Now RGV to plan a film on Sanjay Dutt titled Sanju: The Real Story!
Film Sanju has become one of the biggest movies of 2018 in terms of earning. Directed by Dutt’s friend and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Ranbir Kapoor played the Sanjay Dutt’s role.
Now, another filmmaker has taken it upon himself to show real controversial life of real Sanjay Dutt. It is none other than Ram Gopal Varma who is making a movie tentatively titled Sanju: The Real Story, as per a daily. The film will only focus on Dutt’s connection to the 1993 Mumbai blasts.
RGV verified the news with a daily and revealed, “Yes, I am making the film.”
A source disclosed that Ram Gopal Varma liked Sanju for its intensity but was disappointed with how they tackled Sanjay’s tryst with the law. “That Dutt was doing drugs, was traumatised by his mother’s battle with cancer [she died just three days before the release of his first film Rocky], had multiple flings, many of them one-night stands, is all well documented,” the source specified.
RGV’s film will deal with facts such as people who threatened Dutt and his family, how Sanjay got the rifle, how the firearm was delivered to him and how it was disposed of.
