Ranveer to play a bisexual in his next Padmavati?
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is presently busy with Padmavati which features Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The magnum opus will see Ranveer essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji while Deepika essays the titular role of Rani Padmini. On the side hand, Shahid will be seen playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.
As per a few reports which have been floating around, Bhansali will be seen exploring Alauddin’s fascination and attraction to his slave-general Malik Kafur. Ranveer will seemingly be seen essaying a bisexual character onscreen. Previously, the actor had said on a podcast that if the script demands he would not mind essaying such roles but for that to happen it really needs to be special to him
The reports further suggest that it will be Jim Sarbh who will be seen essaying the role of Malik Kafur in Padmavati. But, not much has been disclosed on this as his character is being kept under wraps.
