Rohit Suchanti to romance Tejaswi Prakash in Pehredaar Piya Ki’s sequel?

A controversial TV serial Pehredaar Piya Ki had led to a huge uproar on social media after the show’s regressive plot received thumbs down from the viewers. The campaign was such that the I&B Ministry had to interfere and the channel was asked to change the time slot of the show.

But, in an astonishing move, the makers decided to pull the plug on the show overnight with a promise to be back with a sequel. Well, seems like they weren’t kidding.

Shashi Sumeet Productions’ is all set to make a comeback with Pehredaar Piya Ki sequel.  But, this time the tale will continue with it taking a leap of 12-13 years. The lead character, Ratan, will be seen returning back to the country post finishing his studies abroad.

Previously it was informed that Shantanu Maheshwari, who is being seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi, was roped in to essay the role of grown-up Ratan. But, a source reveals us that it is Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame Rohit Suchanti who has been finalised to play the male lead opposite Tejaswi Prakash.
