The Gahoi Diwas is going to celebrate on 17th January this year. Generally, we celebrate Gahoi Diwas on first Sunday which comes just after Makar Sankranti every year. The Gahoi Divas is always celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm. Every Gahoi bandhu around the world feel blessed and proud to be a part of Gahoi Divas celebration in India as well as abroad.
On this occasion of Gahoi Divas, various Gahoi families come together and lighting the lamp, hoisting the Gahoi flag, enjoy picnic, competitive events and some entertainment activities like Dance Competition, Kursi Daud Contest, Namkeen Vyanjan Contest, One Minute Contest, Marble Contest, Green Theme Contest, and Corn Cuisine Contest etc. Furthermore, we also worship our adorable and presiding deity god Sun in morning time at various places.
There is a report of Gahoi Divas celebration in India and abroad with good faith and great promise for Gahoi’s progress and development.
We wish to all Gahoi Samaj Committees around the world for their great efforts to organize get together of Gahoi Community on this auspicious Gahoi Divas.
