Akshay vs Akshay with PadMan and 2.0!
Superstar Akshay Kumar’s PadMan which is a biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham, a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in rural areas, is all set to release next year. The primary release date of the movie was April 13, 2018, and now Akshay disclsoed the new date of the release. The movie will now hit the screens on January 26, 2018.
Akshay posted the poster of the movie in which he is seen riding a bicycle along the Ganges in Banaras. He revealed, “Not all superheroes come with capes! Bringing you the true story of a real superhero, #Padman this Republic Day – 26th January, 2018!” The tagline of Padman is The True Story of a Real Super Hero.
With PadMan, Twinkle Khanna turns producer and the movie is being directed by R Balki.
The film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead role. The movie will also see Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo. The movie has been widely shot in Madhya Pradesh.
As per schedule, Rajinikanth’s film 2.0 is slated to release on 25th January 2018.
