Gahoi Ashutosh Rana ji will receive Vaagdhara Samman 2024!
Mumbai, Maharashtra: Recently the names of Vaagdhara Samman for the year 2024 have been announced. Vagdhara President Dr. Vagish Saraswat informed that the award distribution ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 3 pm at Mukti Auditorium, Model Town, Andheri (West).
According to the information, the selection committee of actress Kanchan Awasthi and senior journalist Vimal Mishra under the chairmanship of art and color director Jayant Deshmukh has selected Vagish Saraswat, Durgeshwari Singh Mehak, Neeta Bajpayee, Ravi Yadav, Shekhar Astitva, Bhargav Tiwari, Dev Faujdar, Avadheshkumar Pandey, Suresh Tiwari along with the proposing committee of Yash, Jitendra Dixit, Anil Tiwari, Sandhya Pandey, Shraddha Mohite and Narendra Kothekar unanimously selected various personalities for the Vagdhara Samman.
In this ceremony, the famous actor, writer and poet Ashutosh Rana (Neekhara) will be presented with the Vaagdhara Jury Award.
Gahoi Ashutosh Rana, born in Neekhra family of Gadarwada, is an Indian Hindi film actor. Along with Bollywood, he is also working in Marathi, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil film industries. He has also acted in the serial “Kali – Ek Agnipariksha”.
Ashutosh Rana was born on 10 November 1967. He was born into a prestigious Gahoi family and his full name is Ashutosh Rana Ramnarayan Neekhra which is his family name, but he changed his name to Ashutosh Rana in the film industry.
Ashutoshji, who started his acting career with Doordarshan’s serial film Swabhiman in 1995, left a lasting impression every time in his film career. In 1998, he played the role of Gokul Pandit in the film Dushman and in 1999, he played the role of Lajja Shankar Pandey in the film Sangharsh, seeing which the audience still gets scared.
The Shabnam Mausi actor received the Filmfare Best Villain Award for the film Dushman (1999) and the film Sangharsh (2000).
Recently he was seen in the lead role in Shahrukh Khan starrer Pathan (2023).
