Gahoi Seva Mandal and Vaishya Samaj Orai to remember Rashtrakavi Dr. Maithali Sharan Gupt on his 59th death anniversary!
Orai, Uttar Pradesh: Recently, on 12th December, the 59th death anniversary of national poet Dr. Maithali Sharan Gupt, the pride of the country and society, was celebrated at Gahoi Dharamshala located in local locality Gopalganj. People of Gahoi Seva Mandal and Vaishya Samaj Orai paid tribute to Maithili Sharan and remembered him.
Giving information about Dadda ji, Gahoi Youth Club President Akash Gahoi said that national poet Maithili Sharan Gupta Dadda ji gave recognition to Khari Boli in the country. The poems written by him give new inspiration to human life. His work Bharat Bharati proved to be quite influential during the freedom struggle. Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had given him the title of National Poet. In 1954, he was honored with the Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India. He wrote epics like Panchavati Saket Yashodhara.
Further, President of Gahoi Seva Mandal, Bhupendra Kantharia, remembering him on this occasion, said that Maithali Sharan Gupt brought glory to Bundelkhand, his works are an invaluable heritage of Hindi literature. On this occasion, Vivek Gupta, Narendra Guta, Prakash, Sanjay Reza, Dayashankar, Ramkishore Geda, Rajkumar (Aashirvad TV), Lalit Khard, Rahul Kanakne (Bhatta Baale), Ashish Jaisari, Shivkumar manager of Dharamshala, Yashoda Nandan Pujari and other relatives paid floral tributes to the national poet and Gave tribute.
